Hilton Garden Inn Tallahassee (map)

CADD Centers of Florida, Autodesk, and DLT Solutions invite you to attend one of three live seminars detailing the benefits of using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011 for transportation and road design.

During this session we will be discussing how AutoCAD Civil 3D can support the full spectrum of transportation design and construction needs.

Hear from Autodesk Technical Expert, Alan Gilbert and Autodesk Transportation Specialist, Tim Garret as they take you through a complete “real life” transportation design scenario; from inception, through planning, design, and construction documentation.

Recently, the City of Riviera Beach, Florida in Palm Beach County adopted AutoCAD Civil 3D for a Community Development Block Grant road rehabilitation project. CADD Centers Government Specialist, David Lingebach and Technical Expert, Mary Peterman will discuss how the City was able to save over $30,000 in design costs to complete this project on time and under budget.

Learn how dynamic modeling within AutoCAD Civil 3D allows designers to:

·       Work in parallel on finished design tasks, such as plan/profile sheets, reports, and visualizations, throughout the preliminary design phase

·       Use integrated GIS tools within AutoCAD Civil 3D to detect environmental issues

·       Automatically update project documents to accommodate design changes at any stage of the design process

·       Dynamically update visualizations using the Civil Visualization Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D along with Autodesk 3ds Max Design

·       Perform QA/QC checks and produce construction documentation

Interested in how FDOT’s implementation of AutoCAD Civil 3D is progressing? We’ll update you on the latest news from Tallahassee and answer questions on the beta release of the AutoCAD Civil 3D state kit.

If you are currently using AutoCAD Civil 3D for transportation design, or you are considering adopting it, this is a seminar you will not want to miss!

Registration is FREE and attendance is appropriate for both executives in transportation and end users alike. Breakfast will be provided. We hope to see you there!
