CADD Centers is the oldest Autodesk AEC software dealer in the United States. For most of our past 28 year history, we have focused on architecture, engineering and drafting software, training and implementation for architects and engineers.
Five years ago, with the arrival of our current president, Gregory Arkin, we began to shift our focus to contractors and subcontractors. With Gregory's background as a 3rd generation general contractor, computer consultant and LEED AP BD+C, he's led our company into the future of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for the construction industry.
For the past two years, we have shifted all of our efforts to BIM, LEED and IPD (Integrated Project Delivery). By nature of us being the largest Autodesk dealer in Florida and always being the first to know of changes in technology, CADD Centers has embraced the benefits of BIM through the software we sell. Between the phasing out of AutoCAD and the entry of Revit Architecture, Revit Structure and Revit MEP, and the introduction of products like Navisworks and Ecotect, we have boldly moved forward into the emerging markets of BIM for contractors, fabrication, energy analysis, integrated project design, green building retrofits and laser scanning.
